Hi! My name is Maria and I decided to join theaviary after seeing it on my friend ozqueen 's journal. It seemed like an interesting group to join and I am hopeful that I use it to its fullest. I haven't really been active with my fanfictions this year, but I hope to increase my output in 2013.

The fandoms I write in are mainly The Baby Sitters Club and Sweet Valley. I post my BSC fics on livejournal/ao3 and my Sweet Valley oneshots on lj/Ao3 as well. My longer Sweet Valley fanfictions are posted on a Sweet Valley forum. Other fandoms I have written/or will write for include Everybody Loves Raymond, Friends, Frasier, Harry Potter, Back To You, Full House, and The Middle. 

I am 20 years old and live in the Greater Boston area, which means that I am currently on Eastern Standard Time -- fortunately I am a night owl so am often on until the wee hours of the morning. I like to read books about the medical world and I like chick lit. I also like to reread old favorites from my youth. I don't watch much current TV -- the only exceptions are Call the Midwife, Go On, Modern Family, The Middle, and Happy Endings. I prefer to catch reruns of shows such as Everybody Loves Raymond, Cheers, Frasier, Two and a Half Men [not the retool w/Kutcher], Friends, Family Guy, and The Vicar of Dibley. I enjoy reading Hello! and Okay UK edition. I like adult contemporary music and the Beatles, Blink 182, Green Day, and the Spice Girls.
